Serenity is the cool, calm point of stillness in the eye of the storm – a reminder to take pause and make the most of precious moments, a time to be still and savour life.

The fragrance was again inspired by a person close to my heart, someone who is resilient in adversity, overcoming life’s obstacles with fiery courage and cool persistence – who also has the charisma to charm their way anywhere!

 

I wanted this fragrance to represent modern, care-free individuals, who are heroic in their ability to balance all the demands of work and family, and still make time for self-care and enjoyment. They understand that by relaxing and re-energising ourselves, we can give even more.

Like lying on the beach by the ocean, this is a fragrance for those who seek respite from the chaos of modern life and time to enjoy moments of tranquillity. Amber and cedarwood were the obvious base notes for this fragrance. Warm and woody, they embody a grounding strength and natural warmth. Jasmine has been used since ancient times to evoke stillness and calm; in Serenity, along with citrus notes, it balances the spice with coolness and calm. Contrasting ingredients, like yin and yang, sit in pleasing harmony – the stillness at the centre of everything.

 

Sometimes, amidst the highs and lows of everyday life, we find a moment of peace in the overwhelming vastness of time and space. Restorative for the mind, body and spirit. That is the essence of Serenity.
