We all have that someone who brings people together. In my family, that’s my grandmother  – a woman of sheer love, compassion and selflessness. She is the force that holds us together, no matter what. Without her presence and warmth, chaos would prevail. She’s always there for us.

 

When I think of Rekindle, I think of that special someone – the heart and soul of a family. This fragrance, evoking comfort and homeliness, reminds us of the people who keep us warm, even on the coldest, darkest days. The fragrance is therefore warm, sweet, inviting – but it’s also far more than that. So rounded and ‘together’, this character encapsulates many other notes, adding complexity and depth.

 

Rekindle hits you with all these notes at once, in an explosion of sweet warmth, embracing you in a big, spicy hug.  I started with a base of vanilla musk to create that sweet, smoky vibe. Then, as is deserving of someone graced with a certain wisdom that only comes with the passing of time, I added amber for superior depth and character.

Jasmine brings equilibrium and an aromatic note to the fragrance. Bergamot and mandarin add a touch of spicy masculinity, so everyone can enjoy the fine balance of masculine and feminine notes.

 

Rekindle is the catalyst for togetherness.  It calls on us to recognise our similarities and celebrate our differences. It creates common ground for modern-day living.
